i immediately sent it back. this pan is junk made in china. it appeared to be a second rather than a first quality item.
I would highly recommend this item. The handle stays cool to touch and the nonstick feature makes it a cinch to prepare the food. I have been using this for over 2 years and this is one fantastic pan that makes me look like a pro. The size and weight is perfect for omlette and pancakes.
It could not be any better. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and especially those who enjoy a quality tool in the kitchen. I could not be happier with this pan, it is of perfect quality, easy to clean, food does not stick to it. I have used many brands and qualities of pan and none come close to the quality or ease of use of this one.
It is a poor ergonomic design. Our one complaint and it is a big one is the handle which is very awkward and difficult to hold. We would hesitate to buy larger frying pan from them unless they fixed the poor handle design. We own a calphalon 1210 crepe pan and a 1390 10" saute pan and love the surface. No chipping etc.
I like the size and design of the 10" Calphalon. The Anolon is over 2 years old the non-stick surface is just fine. I have an older 12" Anolon that I have gone back to.
It was great for several months of daily use. By eight months, the coating pieces began showing up in my egg. It have had this pan for about 8 months.
I had to throw the pan away. It is just not as reliable. I hand wash with and never use metal utensils.
But after about 6 months of near daily use (I have an omelet or a cooked egg every morning) that the center non stick coating began to peel off.
