It's so easy to clean up and the quality seems very good. The pan is nice and heavy and the crepes turn out beautiful. Just wish it were made in the USA. This the third Calphalon crepe pan I have ordered. One for myself and 2 as gifts.
This is a great bacon and eggs pan. What can I say, they last forever.
You really don't have to add any butter to keep your crepes from sticking. The weight isn't bad for the size and shouldn't be a problem unless you're feeding an army. I'm not keen on non-stick because I find them to be of questionable safety & durability. The low rim keeps the batter uniform without spills(why I don't want the convex electric crepe makers) yet easy to flip. I actually like my crepes a bit larger though, but this a good starter pan. However, I must admit, I love this pan. Just bought it so I can't speak to its longevity, but the non-stick is amazing.
Not up to Calphalon standard. The nonstick coating started flaking off after only a few months of use. After 2 or 3 years, it is unusable (unless you like eating the coating).
If this is your first purchase of these, then clean out your cubbards because you will definatly be back for more and Amazon is by far the best and safest place to purchase them.
